  • Road Construction Update from the Town of Oakville: The road closure at Grand Boulevard will be extended until September 26, 2016 for the replacement of the Wedgewood Creek culvert. Please note that this will continue to have an effect on local traffic.

  • EXTRA EXTRA! Look out for our new publications: The Falgarwood Flyer and UPDATED website At the end of each week we send home a brief 'Week at the Wood' that captures announcements, special events, etc. for the upcoming week and has links to items on our website. At the end of each month we will be providing you with lots of information about what has been happening at school and ideas for parents to help in the learning partnership in a new publication: The Falgarwood Flyer. We hope to include student voices, classroom learning and a celebration of the wonderful experiences at Falgarwood.  Our new website will be going LIVE shortly also!! Stay tuned.....

  • Welcome Back Falgarwood! We hope you have had a wonderful summer break. It has been an extremely busy one at 'The Wood' with renovations throughout July and August. Our east wing (Kindergarten and Primary classrooms), hallways and entrance has had a coat of paint, we have new windows, bathrooms and air conditioning on the second floor. No more visits to the Sahara desert!Look out for developements at our school. These will include: Student Parliament with a plethera of committees so that students can become more involved in school; Foyer TV that will tell us 'What's On' at school; Parent Corner (a new notice board just in the front entrance) where your school council will communicate parent events and community information and ...

  • Avoid Parking Tickets near our School Watch Out, Watch Out, Parking Tickets Will Be About !Parking NoticeThe Town of Oakville has recently received complaints regarding parking around Falgarwood Public School.Dropping off and picking students up in school areas can cause a lot of extra traffic congestion. Illegally stopped or parked cars are a safety risk as they make it hard for other drivers to see pedestrians, particularly children, crossing the street. For these reasons, streets around our school have “No Stopping” and “No Parking” signs installed.
