Message From the Principal

Principal S.McRae

Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,

Mrs. Hughes-Allen and I would like to welcome all of you to another exciting school year.

Falgarwood is a TRIBES community of approximately 550 students.  We focus on Literacy, Numeracy and Safety and Well-Being for all our students.

At Falgarwood, we understand the importance of  helping each child reach their highest potential. Our goal is to help all students achieve this by providing them with a high-quality differentiated instruction approach to education. We help them learn the habits, attitudes, and skills necessary to live a productive, satisfying life in society and to make smooth transitions in a world of ever-changing challenges.

We are proud of our dedicated and competent staff. Our teachers recognize the dignity and worth of each individual, and they work diligently to help each student develop academically, physically, emotionally, and socially. As a professional learning community we continuually grow together in order to give each child in our school opportunities to reach their maximum potential.

We also encourage our parents to participate in their child's education, to support the educational endeavors of your child(ren), and to help foster an attitude that recognizes and values the importance of a well-rounded education.

Likewise, we encourage our students to participate fully in academics, special programs and extracurricular activities at Falgarwood.

Wishing you a wonderful year of learning and growth.
