  • Kindergarten Orientation Night - Thursday May 31st Welcome to Kindergarten! Please come join us for our Kindergarten Orientation Night on Thursday May 31. The evening begins at 6:00 pm with a presentation about the kindergarten program and daily routines. Our new learners will then have a chance to participate in an activity in our kindergarten classrooms and will collect a little present in each class. Our evening finishes by 7:30. We look forward to meeting you!

  • EQAO at Falgarwood A reminder that our grade 3 students will be participating in EQAO from Tuesday May 22 to Thursday May 24th.  Grade 6 students will be participating in EQAO on Friday May 25, Monday May 28th and Tuesday May 29th.

  • Lunch Lady - Hot Lunch Orders Falgarwood’s School Council is pleased to partner with “Lunch Lady” for meal and snack services on Wednesdays at 2nd break throughout May and June. Flyers and menus have gone home with each student. There are many different meals, beverages and snacks available. Different dietary restrictions can be accommodated. There are no minimum orders, you can order all 9 Wednesdays meals or snacks at once or log in at various times to change, add or cancel even after we start the service! Order by Monday morning for Wednesday delivery. If your student is ill or absent on a Wednesday, phone the Lunch Lady by 8 a.m. that day and receive credit in your account for that meal. Any ...

  • Front Row Seats at Graduation! A reminder that the raffle is OPEN for 4 front-row reserved seats in the parent section for the night of graduation! If you are interested, ticket sales are up on Cashless Schools. One ticket is $2 and three raffle tickets cost $5. There is a skill testing question required. All money raised will be put towards grade 8 graduation.Raffle closes on MONDAY MAY 14TH. The winner of the raffle will be notified next week.

  • ARTS NIGHT - TUESDAY MAY 15TH We are excited to announce that Falgarwood will be having our Arts Night on Tuesday, May 15th from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm.This is an opportunity for students to showcase their work in Visual Arts, as well as Drama, Dance, Music, Media, and Language.   • Cashless System changing to NEW Cashless Schools Online System Dear Parent/Guardian,As a follow-up to the previous notification from the Board, Cashless Schools will no longer be available after June 25, 2017 to accept online payments.  Families/staff will receive information during the month of June on how to register for our new School Cash Online service.We hope you have been using your balances in your Cashless Schools wallets to pay for school events and activities over the past few weeks.  As Cashless Schools and School Cash Online are independently operated vendors, the Board is unable to arrange for a transfer of unused wallet balances between the two systems. The Board has now made it even easier by including a Smart phone application to use.
