September Supply List (If parents choose to purchase any school supplies prior to the beginning of school, this is a suggested list of items. Parents, please understand that this list is not mandatory to fulfill in its entirety and is simply a helpful guide.)

  • 1 pair of primary scissors
  • 1 package of 24 crayons

  • 1 package of 12 HB sharpened yellow pencils
  • 3 boxes of Kleenex
  • 2 green duo tangs
  • 2 blue duo tangs
  • 1 pair of indoor running shoes
  • 4 – 40g non-toxic glue sticks
  • 3 pink pearl erasers
  • 1 pencil sharpener
  • 1 carrying case for supplies (i.e. pencil box)

Please note that supplies will need to re-stocked a few times during the year.  I will keep extra pencils, etc. in a labelled bag and hand out as needed.  Items such as pencils, glue, pencil crayons and scissors need to be replaced most often.

  • 1 package of pencil crayons (maximum of 24, pre-sharpened)
  • 1 pencil case (must be able to fit inside student’s desk)
  • 3 large glue sticks
  • 1 package of lined, 3-hole paper
  • 5 duo tangs (1 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green and 1 orange)
  • 30 cm. ruler
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 package of markers (assorted colours and water soluble)
  • 1 pair of indoor shoes
  • 1 soft bag for gym clothes
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex
  • 1 hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings catcher
  • 4 tennis balls (for chair legs)

FOR MUSIC:

  • 1 duo tang (3 hole tab style)
  • 4 HB pencils (soft lead) with eraser tip
  • 1 – 6 inch ruler for their pencil case
  • 1 pack 3 hole punch lined paper (25 sheets or less)

  • 1 package of 24 pencils (NOT “ever sharp” type).  Please beware of very low cost pencils as they do not sharpen well and much of the pencil is turned into shavings.
  • 2 blue or black ink pens
  • 1 hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings catcher (or a small zip-lock bag for the shavings)
  • 12 (or more) coloured pencil crayons or markers
  • 3 glue sticks
  • 3 pink erasers
  • 1 pencil case or normal sized pencil box (with name and class number clearly indicated) to remain at the school for the year
  • 1 set of standard P.E. clothes and shoes in a cloth bag (preferably not a shopping bag)
  • 1 standard box of Kleenex

FOR MUSIC:

  • Use pencil case from classroom
  • 2 light coloured (e.g. yellow) duo tangs (not binders)
  • 2 – 2 or 3 piece soprano recorders (one recorder will be left at the school, while one is for playing/practicing at home).  Recorders can be purchased from the Dollar Store, A Buck or Two Discount Store, or Leslie Music on Speers Road.
  • 1 audio head-set (such as those used for portable Walkmans, CD players, iPods, MP3 players, etc.)

FOR FRENCH:

  • 1 white binder (1” size) with a clear plastic pocket on the front and back
  • Some lined paper
  • 1 English/French dictionary
  • 1 package of subject dividers
