posted Feb 24, 2017, 6:14 AM by Wendy Carlan   [ updated Feb 24, 2017, 7:28 AM ]

Dear Grade 7 & 8 parents,

At Falgarwood we are promoting Mindfulness, Health and Wellbeing amongst all our students this year. We have our own parent event coming up on March 23rd - stay tuned for details of that.

As we work in partnership with High Schools in our area we are also happy to announce a presentation being hosted at Garth Webb on March 2nd (see the attached pdf flyer).
This event is aimed specifically at Intermediate and High School students - a great way to support your maturing child and help them manage the stresses and strains of teenage life.

Always check our website, and our weekly commuications, for news and updates of upcoming events both in our school and the wider community.

Pick Up/Dismissal Reminder for Parents

posted Nov 21, 2016, 9:14 AM by Wendy Carlan   [ updated Nov 21, 2016, 9:16 AM ]

This is a reminder to all parents to please make arrangements with your son/daughter to meet you at the office if you need to pick them up from school for an appointment or other dismissal during the day.  We also ask that you send a note to the teacher to inform them they will be leaving.  If we are required to call into the classes to dismiss your son/daughter, there could be delays.  We try to eliminate the amount of disruptions during class time as much as possible to ensure the students are receiving valuable learning without interruptions.

We appreciate your continued support.

Thank you to those parents who are using our Kiss “N” Ride.  This is doing much to alleviate parking lot congestion in the mornings.  A reminder that Kiss “N” ride opens and supervision begins at 9:00 am.  To ensure the safety of our students, please children are not dropped off prior to 9:00 am.  We encourage you to use our Kiss “N” Ride facility or park your vehicle on Grosvenor Street beyond the No Parking signs.  Our crossing guard can also help you onto school property safely.  Thank you for helping us for keeping all our students safe.
